Before you can enter persons, you must define which symbols will be used, and for that you use the legend form.
The forms shows you the available symbols for persons, and you can set a label for their meaning. These labels are used in the person edit form when entering markers for persons, so you must define these labels before you can enter any persons that use the corresponding marker(s).
